Are you passionate about teaching and learning in an IB world school? Can you challenge and guide

our children to become knowledgeable risk-takers, open-minded and reflective inquirers and caring

members of society?

 

International Primary School Delft is looking for a Subject Teacher Dutch (0.4FTE = 16 hours)

for the middle years (6-9 years old) of the PYP program.

We are looking for a teacher whose experience, enthusiasm and passion for teaching will inspire our

children. You have experience or knowledge of teaching the IB (International Baccalaureate)

program, specifically the Primary Years Program (PYP) and inquiry-based learning or you are willing

to develop yourself in this area. You experienced in teaching the Dutch language to a non-native,

International group of children and in a range of age groups.

International Primary School Delft is a young, dynamic school situated in the heart of the campus of

the Delft University of Technology. We are a Dutch International School founded 11 years

ago. International School Delft Primary has now grown to approx. 220 children.

Our students come from a diverse range of nationalities, cultures and backgrounds and are united by

the common goal that their time at ISD will inspire them to learn for a sustainable future.

The International School Delft is an IB World School, offering the Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)

in the Primary school, the Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) and Diploma Programme (IB DP) in the

Secondary school.

Qualifications

Teaching staff should have

• a teaching qualification that is or will be recognised by the Dutch authorities

• Preferably experienced in NT2 curriculum and approach

• further qualifications and experience in training, coaching and presenting workshops are

welcomed
